Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Lagos state governor, Gboyega Akosile, has reacted after an X user said Lagos residents will forever be grateful to former governor, Babajide Raji Fashola.
The X user said people living in Ikorodu, Lagos state are yet to see any meaningful development under the administration of Sanwo-Olu unlike the tenure of Fashola.
Here is what he wrote on his page;
“We are yet to see any meaningful development in Ikorodu. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has neglected Ikorodu people. It is sad that places he hardly got votes are now enjoying his projects. Ikorodu will ever be grateful to Gov Fashola”.
Reacting to the statement, Gboyega Akosile stated that Ikorodu division has benefited more from the distribution of amenities.
Here is what he wrote on his official X handle;
“I doubt that you live in Ikorodu or visit the place if you’re saying this. Ikorodu division is one that has benefited more from the distribution of amenities by this administration-from road construction to jetties and schools, name it. As we speak, work is ongoing on the Gberigbe road and we would complete it in shortest possible time. Oba Sekunmade road was delivered, Itamaga to Ewu-Elepe road delivered, Phase to Ijede has started. The administration of Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has done a lot for the good people of Ikorodu”….Vìêw–Morê
