Nigerian politician and the Director of The Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi has reacted after seeing video of some high profile public officials waving at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while he was traveling to the United Kingdom.
The video was posted on the official X handle of PREMIUM TIMES on Wednesday. In the viral video, the former governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, former governor of Zamfara state, Bello Matawalle, Kaduna state governor, Uba Sani and some other people were seen waving at the President while he was departing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
However, Sam Amadi has now reacted to the video. In a post that he shared on his page, he said public officials should not be seen lining up just to wave at the President.
Here is what he wrote on his page;
“When I was the Special Adviser, we just files like this. Then I realized it made no sense and I stopped. SP asked me why and I told him it means we are jobless. He agreed. Why should high profile public officials line up just to wave bye to the President? Nothing more. It’s sickening”.
