Former member of the Labour Party, LP, Oseloka Obaze has reacted to the document that the Anambra state government shared after fact checking the statement that the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi made about SABMiller.
According to the statement that the Anambra state government shared on its official X handle on Thursday, July 17, 2025, Peter Obi claimed that SABMiller is the highest taxpayer in the state.
However, after fact checking the statement that was made by Peter Obi, the Anambra state government said he was wrong. The Anambra state govenment said SABMiller is the 6th highest taxpayer in the state.
Oseloka Obaze has now shared his thoughts after the report surfaced online. In a post that he shared on his official X handle, he said SABMiller is based In Anambra state. He said the company also distributes its products in the state.
Here is what he wrote on his official X handle;
“What a counterintuitive argument? 1-5 are based largely and have headquarters outside Anambra”.
