Journalist Rufai Oseni has dared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to publicly support Governor Siminalayi Fubara against former Governor Nyesom Wike, his political mentor. Oseni threw down the gauntlet during a live interview with Kola Ologbondiyan From 6:05, former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP.

Oseni asserted that Wike’s influence within the party makes it impossible for the PDP to support Fubara against him. He challenged the party to prove him wrong, citing Wike’s significant contributions to the party’s success.

Ologbondiyan responded by referencing the recent statement by the current National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, which declared that the lawmakers led by Amaewhule have lost their seats and are no longer party members. This, Ologbondiyan argued, indicates the party’s support for Fubara.

“I dare the PDP to support against Wike. They can never because Wike had taken a good portion of the party. That’s the truth. You don’t want to say the truth and that’s why I dare the PDP to support Fubara against Wike, challenge me in return, tell me it’s not true” Rufai Oseni said

“I might disagree with you and I say so because even yesterday, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba did say that the members of the House of Assembly led by Amaewhule have ceased to be members of the party and they’ve also lost their seats in the House of Assembly, with the disposition from the current National Publicity Secretary, it’ll be difficult to say that the Party was not with Fubara ” Kola Ologbondiyan responded…..Seë_Morë
