There have been several reactions from social media users after the former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani commented on the statement that was made by the captain of Super Falcons, Rasheedat Ajibade.
Reacting after the report surfaced online, Shehu Sani urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to redeem his pledge.

“I urge the Federal Government to fast track and redeem the pledge made to the Falcons and D’Tigress. Waiting for money is mentally stressful”.

According to PUNCH, Ajibade said all the promises that were made by the President have not been fulfilled.
This is coming after the President promised each of the players $100,000 after they won the Women African Cup of Nation in Morocco. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu also conferred national honours of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) on the players and technical team.
