Reactions Trail Atiku Abubakar’s Warning After Monday Okphebolo Told Obi Not To Come To Edo State

Several reactions have trailed the warning that former Vice President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the 2023 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar gave the governor of Edo state, Monday Okphebolo after he ordered Peter Obi not to travel to Edo state.

Atiku’s statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

This is coming after Monday Okphebolo ordered the former governor of Anambra state to get security clearance before embarking on a journey to Edo state.

In the post that Atiku Abubakar shared on his page, he said a threat on the former governor of Anambra state is a threat against all of them.

Here is what Atiku Abubakar wrote on his official X handle;

“Let it be known that a threat against Peter Obi or any of us is a threat against all of us!”.
