There have been several reactions from the general public and particularly social media users after the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike announced that commissioning of projects to mark president Tinubu’s second year anniversary has ended.

Prior to the celebration of president Tinubu’s second year anniversary, a lot of projects were lined up for commissioning by the FCTA administration led by former Rivers governor Nyesom Wike.

However, according to a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle on Friday, the FCT minister disclosed that projects for commissioning will end today being July 4th, 2025.

The project which marked the end of the series of work done by the FCTA was the Aguma Palace – Radio Nigeria – New market road in the Gwagwalada area council of the federal capital territory.

According to the FCT minister, a total of sixteen projects were commissioned to mark president Tinubu’s second year anniversary.

“Today, we will be commissioning the Aguma Palace – Radio Nigeria – New Market Road, in Gwagwalada area council.

“It is the last day of commissioning of projects to commemorate the second year anniversary of the president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“16 projects commissioned, one flagged-off.” He announced.

However, after the announcement from the former Rivers State governor surfaced online, a lot of mixed reactions were generated from the general public. While many commended his efforts in turning the FCT around, others believed the announcements were unnecessary.
