Some social media users have reacted after one of the chieftains of the peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani shared video of a large crowd who saw the biopic of Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka.

The fomer Kaduna lawmaker shared the video on his official X handle on Saturday.

After he shared the video, he said the movie reveals the struggle and travails of the Nobel laureate during the Nigerian Civil War. Shehu Sani said in the movie, Wole Soyinka was arrested and sent to Kiri Kiri and Kaduna prisons for visiting Enugu state and meeting with Ojukwu and other secessionist leaders.

Here is what Shehu Sani wrote on his official X handle;

“We watched the Soyinka Biopic about his struggle and travails during the Nigerian Civil War. In the movie as it was in history, he was arrested and sent to Kiri Kiri and Kaduna prisons for visiting Enugu and meeting with Ojukwu and other secessionist leaders. It is a must watch for those who are interested in history. I hope those in charge will try and get it into Netflix”.
