In a move aimed at addressing the longstanding issues between herders and farmers, President Bola Tinubu has announced the establishment of the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development. The President made this announcement on Tuesday during the inauguration of the Presidential Committee on Livestock Reforms at the Council Chamber in the State House, Abuja.

According to Channels Television, the newly formed ministry is expected to spearhead initiatives to foster peaceful coexistence between herders and farmers, ensuring the security and economic well-being of all Nigerians. This initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to tackling one of the country’s most pressing challenges.
