Following the online publication of new photographs depicting Peter Gregory Obi, a former governor of Anambra state and a candidate for the Labour Party, LP, in the presidential election of 2023, donating the sum of N50 million to Christ the King College (CKC), his former secondary school, there have been a number of responses from users of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
The photographs were included in a post that was published on Thursday, July 24, 2025, on the official X handle that the former governor of Anambra state had shared.
Peter Obi was seen in the photographs that were uploaded to the internet presenting the money to the administration of the school’s administration.
However, once he shared the photographs, he stated that the school had a significant impact on his life. He advised everyone to make it a point to go back to the school that had a significant impact on them.
