It is no longer news that the report surfaced online after the President declared a state of emergency in Rivers state. It would be recalled that after the declaration, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu suspended the Rivers state governor and his deputy for a duration of six months.
However, the President and the suspended governor have now met. In the report that surfaced online, it was stated that the Rivers state governor was the person who initiated the meeting.
