In a recent post on Facebook, Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries emphasized that Jesus Christ is the sole source of peace and hope for humanity, particularly in times when men and governments fail. Quoting Matthew 11:28, he urged believers and non-believers alike to turn to Christ for true rest and solace.
He emphasized that the challenges faced by individuals and nations can be overwhelming, but Christ’s promise remains a beacon of hope. He also pointed out that despite the advancements in technology, politics, and economics, the world continues to grapple with crises that human solutions seem unable to resolve. From economic downturns and political instability to personal trials and emotional stress, he noted that many people are searching for lasting peace and solutions that seem elusive.
He encouraged the congregation and listeners to shift their focus from worldly solutions to divine intervention. He stressed that while human efforts are necessary, they are insufficient without the foundational peace that comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
