Senator Shehu Sani, a prominent political figure, has responded to President Bola Tinubu’s recent address to the nation, which came amidst widespread protests against bad governance in Nigeria.

Sani’s reaction, conveyed through a post on his X formerly Twitter (handle), suggests skepticism about the effectiveness of the speech in addressing the concerns of the protesters.

In his address, President Tinubu acknowledged the hardships faced by Nigerians due to the ongoing economic reforms, assuring them that the reforms are necessary to create a stronger foundation for future growth.

He urged protesters to suspend their demonstrations to prevent further violence and bloodshed.

However, Shehu Sani, a former senator representing Kaduna Central, expressed his doubts about the impact of the speech, saying, “You want to hear his voice; una don hear am.”
