In a video shared by Arise TV from 10:43, Dele Momodu, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), spoke about the large number of security forces deployed to Lagos State during the recent nationwide protest.
Momodu criticized the heavy presence of security personnel, saying that it was a waste of resources. He said that if the same number of security forces had been sent to Sambisa Forest against Boko Haram, the terrorist group might have been wiped out by now.
Momodu also expressed his disappointment in how the government handled the protest and he said that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had to issue a statement urging the military not to harm innocent people during the protests.
