The Former Minister of Education and a Nigerian human rights activist, Dr Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, has reacted to the ongoing nationwide protest against Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led government.

While reacting, Oby Ezekwesili made it known that it is now evident that the citizens of Nigeria have won already, thereby demanding to know why the Nigerian government wants to muzzle the citizens and quell the ongoing nationwide protest against bad leadership in Nigeria.

Furthermore, the former Education Minister made it known that the political class should have used wisdom, instead of trying to oppress the protesters, stating it clearly that no force on earth can oppress a people permanently.

The former Education Minister made this disclosure in a long post she made on her official X handle, while reacting to the ongoing nationwide protest.

She went on and noted that bad governance has factually oppressed and destroyed the lives and future of Nigerian citizens, noting that when people muster the courage to demand for accountability, those in Government want to oppress them. She thereby described the action of the federal government as unwise action.

Recall that Nigerian youths and some human rights activists, today trooped out in various cities across the country, protesting against bad leadership and economic hardship across the country, under Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led government.
