One of the protesters in Lagos state has stated that he will continue to show up at the protest venue until the desired result is achieved.
He made the statement in a viral video that was shared on the official X handle of The Guardian from 1.00.
The protester made the statement after he claimed that some thugs harassed him at the venue of their protest.
He said at this point, he doesn’t care and he will continue to show up. He said if he is killed by the thugs, there are one million protesters like him out there that will fight for the country.
According to him
“I came here this morning to exercise my civil rights but the truth of the matter is that I am disappointed in our government because I know all these are their handwork. A million of them ( thugs) can’t stop me from exercising my civil rights. I am coming back here tomorrow so let them come with their squad, if they kill me tomorrow, there are one million people like me out there that will fight for this country”….Sêe_Morē
