According to a report by Nigerian Tribune on Saturday, November 8, 2025, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is now facing what he described as “nemesis” that he had warned about before the 2023 election.

In a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric said the current controversy involving US President Donald Trump’s warning to Nigeria is a form of divine retribution against Tinubu’s government.

He stated that the alleged persecution of Christians in the country, which has attracted global concern, is spiritually tied to the challenges confronting the administration.

According to Ayodele, the president is experiencing the consequences of actions taken before and during his rise to power.

He said the troubles surrounding the government were predicted long ago and are now becoming visible.

The cleric explained that unless Tinubu seeks divine help, more challenges will continue to emerge.

Ayodele said that the United States’ interest in Nigeria’s internal issues is not only about humanitarian concern but also part of a wider political strategy.

He alleged that the move to intervene in Nigeria’s security and religious crisis could be a way for America to gain influence and weaken Tinubu’s leadership.

He added that Tinubu must act fast to address these spiritual and political problems before they grow worse.

According to him, the matter cannot be solved by political tactics or technology but only through divine guidance.

“Tinubu is reaping what he sowed. Nobody should pity him. Anyone can say anything; the genocide is to fight Tinubu’s government. America will definitely attack his government. America’s plan to fight terrorism is a means to penetrate Tinubu’s government and weaken his second term,” the cleric said. View, More,
