In a recent video shared on Sunday from 3:00, November 16, 2025, Primate Elijah Ayodele revisited the prophetic warning he issued before the 2023 general elections. The cleric explained that many of the challenges Nigeria faces today were already revealed to him spiritually, and he publicly cautioned citizens long before the elections took place.

According to Ayodele, “In 2022, I spoke boldly: Don’t vote APC; if you vote APC, this is what will surely happen.” He said his message at the time was not influenced by personal sentiments or political bias but by what he believed God showed him regarding the future of the nation. The cleric emphasized that the unfolding economic crises, political tensions, and widespread dissatisfaction among citizens are manifestations of the warnings he gave.

Ayodele stated that the prophecy was meant to guide the electorate, urging them to make choices that would bring stability and progress. However, he noted that many ignored the message, believing that the country would not face the difficulties he predicted. He argued that the current situation now reflects the outcomes he spoke about, proving the accuracy of the prophecy.

The cleric further explained that his intention was not to attack any political party but to emphasize the importance of listening to divine direction in matters of national leadership. He added that the rising cost of living, internal conflicts within the government, and increasing social hardship are all part of the consequences he warned about.

As the 2027 election draws near, Ayodele urged Nigerians to be more discerning and attentive to spiritual guidance. He advised citizens to prioritize the nation’s wellbeing over party affiliations and urged leaders to make decisions that serve the people.

He concluded by saying that only honest leadership and sincere reforms can reverse the current trajectory and restore national confidence. View, More,
