The former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party (LP) candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi, has reacted after he was advised by some people to bring thugs to his polling unit during the recent governorship election in Anambra state.
His reaction was contained in a post that one of the members of the Obidient Movement, Ibrahim Abdulkarim shared on his official X handle on Monday, November 10, 2025.
In the post that surfaced online, Ibrahim Abdulkarim stated that during the Anambra governorship election, Peter Obi refused to bring thugs to his polling unit when some people advised him to do so.
The former governor of Anambra state said instead of buying votes, he will fund the School of Nursing.
