In a recent video shared on Tuesday from 2:50, November 18, 2025, Primate Ayodele made remarks about the future of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2027 elections. According to Ayodele, despite current challenges, the party is set to regain influence and strengthen its position in Nigerian politics.

He emphasized, “PDP is still going to rise,” explaining that the party has plans to reorganize its structure, engage its grassroots supporters, and develop strategies to challenge the ruling party effectively. Ayodele noted that internal discipline, unity among members, and strategic alliances would be central to PDP’s resurgence.

The cleric highlighted that the opposition must learn from past mistakes, embrace transparency, and focus on the welfare of Nigerians to regain credibility. He also stressed that political victories are not solely dependent on numbers but on strategic planning, wisdom, and timely action. Ayodele advised PDP leaders to strengthen their campaigns, resolve internal conflicts, and present candidates with broad acceptance to maximize their chances in upcoming elections.

Ayodele further pointed out that the party’s success would also depend on how well it addresses issues such as security, economic stability, and social welfare. By prioritizing these areas, PDP can reconnect with citizens and position itself as a credible alternative to the ruling party. He urged party members to remain patient and committed, warning that haste and internal divisions could undermine their objectives.

According to Ayodele, the upcoming period before 2027 is crucial for PDP to rebuild trust, consolidate resources, and implement measures that would ensure a stronger presence in both state and federal politics. Strategic planning, unity, and genuine concern for Nigerians, he concluded, will be the driving forces behind the party’s rise in the next electoral cycle. View, More,
