According to Al Jazeera, A senior Iranian official has declared that Israel’s recent military campaign to destabilize Iran has failed, suggesting that Tehran has only used a small part of its military power and could escalate further if needed.
Mohsen Rezaee, a prominent member of Iran’s National Security Council and a senior commander in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that Israel aimed to create chaos by targeting top Iranian military leaders.
“In the next stage, it intended to turn Iran into Syria and plunge it into a 10-year insecurity,” Rezaee said, emphasizing that the plan was repelled.
Rezaee revealed that Iran has not yet used its full capabilities on land, at sea, in the oil sector, or in the Strait of Hormuz.
“We also haven’t activated our allies in other countries. Several allies have asked to join the war, but we’ve told them it’s not necessary yet,” he added.
The official also warned that agreeing to a ceasefire now would only help Israel recover, insisting that Iran is “steadily intensifying its military campaign” and has so far deployed only a fraction of its total strength.
Rezaee’s remarks come amid ongoing missile exchanges between Iran and Israel, which have resulted in significant casualties and heightened regional tensions.
Adding to the tension, Rezaee claimed that Pakistan has assured Iran it would respond with nuclear weapons if Israel used nuclear arms against Iran, though Pakistani officials have not confirmed this statement.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s defense minister has called for Muslim nations to unite against Israel and sever diplomatic ties.
As both sides brace for possible escalation, Iran maintains that it will not negotiate while under attack, and warns that its hidden capabilities remain unused.
