Remi Omowaiye, former commissioner for works in Osun State, has expressed deep sympathy for the families of those who lost their lives in the Osun State local government crisis.
Speaking in an interview with Channels TV, Omowaiye disclosed that he narrowly escaped death just a few days ago. Omowaiye stated that his car was shot multiple times and many people were surprised that he survived the attack.
Omowaiye expressed his gratitude to God for keeping him alive despite the terrifying experience.
In Omowaiye’s words: “Well first and foremost I would want to commiserate with families of the lost ones. It is quite unfortunate that we lost a lot of people. And I must also thank God that I am alive today because I also narrowly escaped being killed three days ago. My car was riddled with gun bullets. Nobody believed I would survive but I really thank God (sic)”
