As reported by Fox News, President Donald Trump recently ridiculed President Joe Biden while comparing his own leadership to that of past administrations.
Trump asserted that the United States has restored its international credibility since his presidency.
“America is respected again as a nation. Under Biden, we lost that respect. They see him tripping down the stairs every day. Every day, the guy’s falling down the stairs,” he remarked, referencing Biden’s public missteps.
Trump went on to offer advice on how to maintain poise, emphasizing the need to project strength and stability.
“You don’t need to break any records. Just stay calm. Be cool when you walk down, but don’t stumble down the stairs,” he advised, implying that such incidents can create an impression of weakness globally.
In his address, Trump also reiterated his longstanding criticisms of former President Barack Obama, stating that he never considered him an effective leader.
“So one thing with Obama — I had zero respect for him as a president — but he would bop down those stairs. [imitates bopping down those stairs],” Trump recounted, mocking Obama’s confident mannerisms even as he acknowledged them.
The president’s statements illustrate his campaign approach of criticizing Biden’s physical shortcomings while highlighting his own image of strength.
At the same time, Trump criticized Obama’s policies but acknowledged that Obama at least conveyed energy and physical assurance, which he claims Biden does not possess. See, More, Here>>>
