Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of unfairly treating her, but Senator Adams Oshiomhole of Edo North has vehemently denied the claims. In an interview with Symfoni TV, Oshiomhole denied Akpoti’s allegations, saying that the evidence did not back up allegations of prejudice.
There is no evidence of bias when you examine the data. According to Oshiomhole, the inverse is actually correct. “The facts do not support Senator Natasha’s claim that she is being victimized.” Resolving the Claims Recently, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, expressed her concerns on what she deemed as unjust treatment from the leadership of the Senate.
Some possibilities and privileges, she claimed, were being withheld from her by the legislature. Her accusations of prejudice and unfairness against the Senate President caused a commotion in the National Assembly. But Senator Oshiomhole said the accusations weren’t based on anything. He stressed that the Senate functions according to long-standing values of equity and fairness, and that any member who feels wronged should use the proper channels for redress instead of causing a public scandal.
Instead of accusing discrimination, he requested Akpoti to conduct an impartial review of the case. Oshiomhole did more than just deny Senator Akpoti’s accusations; he also gave her some heartfelt advice, telling her to stop worrying about the past and start planning for the future.
I hope she’ll give some thought to what’s to come. Even while she can’t undo what she’s done, she can learn from her mistakes. Apologizing and admitting mistake is not a sign of being weak, he remarked.
