On Friday, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Olisa Agbakoba took to his official X account to react after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Swore In Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria.

According to Olisa Agbakoba, now is the time for transformational judicial reforms to be initiated. Agbakoba said The last Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) who initiated meaningful reform was the Late Dahiru Musdapher. He said Dahiru personally led a team to present the judicial reforms to the former Senate President, David Mark.

According to Olisa Agbakoba on his official X account;

“The last Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) who initiated meaningful reform was the Late Dahiru Musdapher. I had the privilege of serving as his consultant on Speed of Justice. Despite his short tenure of just six months, CJN Musdapher made significant strides by setting up a high-powered 29 member committee that produced a transformational report. He personally led a team to present these far-reaching judicial reforms to the then President of the Senate, David Mark”….VïêwMôrê
