The Caretaker Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-South, Chief Emmanuel Ogidi, has narrated the sequence of events that took place at the party’s National Secretariat on Tuesday.

Speaking in an interview with TrustTV News from 10:35, he alleged that his life was being threatened, along with those of the PDP Governors and members who visited the Wadata Plaza.

He disclosed that they were initially granted access to the National Executive Council (NEC) hall by the security personnel on ground, but, unexpectedly, tear gas was thrown into the building while they were inside.

Ogidi further narrated that while this was happening, the FCT Minister remained in his car and then majestically entered the PDP National Secretariat with the support of his security team.

He said: “I could have been killed today, three times I was tear-gassed. Governors with immunities, we were in the NEC hall. Police were outside and we thought they were securing us. Then, teargas was thrown at us inside the hall.

“Meanwhile, Wike was sitting inside his car, that our Federal Government car so you know. He came in like an Emperor with machines, paraphernalia and all. They have gone too far.” View, More,
