Former Education Minister Oby Ezekwesili has reacted after learning that Senate President Godswill Akpabio went to court to force Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to remove letter.
According to the Daily Post, Akpabio filed a lawsuit at the Federal High Court in Abuja, seeking to compel Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, to delete a satirical apology letter she posted on her social media accounts. The letter surfaced after she was suspended for six months by a Senate committee.
Responding to the development, Ezekwesili advised Akpabio to address the issues raised by undergoing a fair and transparent investigative process.
Here is what Oby Ezekwesili posted on her official X (formerly known as Twitter) Page:
“Your actions and statements following Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s claims have fallen short and undermined the credibility of the Nigerian Senate.”
