The African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Omoyele Sowore, has accused Peter Obi of not building durable roads and hospitals in Anambra State when he was governor.

According to Sahara Reporters on Sunday, Sowore said that when people talk about it, Peter Obi’s supporters would tell them to go and verify. He added that when people go and verify it, Obi’s supporters would refuse to accept it.

He said that Obi was packaged and presented to Nigerians as someone who could solve the country’s problems, the same way former President Muhammadu Buhari was presented to Nigerians in 2015.

He said that people also loved Buhari until people began to die during his administration as a result of insecurity. He said that Obi was nothing compared to the way Buhari was packaged.

He said, “People loved Buhari too until his tenure killed their parents. Some families were wiped out. Peter Obi is nothing compared to the way Buhari was packaged. Buhari used to get 12 million votes every election season until he won in 2015.”

He asked if insecurity and killing did not become the order of the day despite the way Buhari was loved.

Speaking further, he added, “What is new about that? But that doesn’t change the fact about Peter Obi’s tenure as an eight-year governor in Anambra State who didn’t build a school.

“Not a single road, not a single hospital that you can count exists. They will say go and verify, and when you verify to them, they (Obi’s supporters) say no, we’re not going to accept it.”….Sée Móre
