Adams Oshiomhole, a Nigerian politician, has weighed in on the gubernatorial election that was recently conducted in Edo State.
Allegations and counter allegations have emerged following the conclusion of the governorship election that was held in Edo State, in which Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressive Congress (APC) was declared winner amongst other contestants, including Asue Ighodalo of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party (LP).
However, during an interview with Arise News from 6:23, the APC chieftain, Adams Oshiomhole, stated that the outgoing governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, described himself as an iron while his wife, Betsy Obaseki, described the candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, Monday Okpebholo, as a panellist.
He also made reference to Okpebholo’s victory, noting that the panel beater has beaten and melted the iron.
According to the video, “Obaseki called himself an iron, and his wife described our candidate as a panel beater. Now the panel beater has thoroughly beaten the iron and melted it.”.
