Lere Olayinka, the special adviser to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike recently reacted after former transportation minister and ADC coalition Chieftain, Rotimi Amaechi was captured in an Emir traditional attire. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he described the former governor as ‘His Royal Highness’.

Former Rivers State governor and one of the leading founders of the ADC coalition, Rotimi Amaechi has drawn public attention after he was captured in an an Emirate traditional attire on Tuesday.

The photos however, generated massive reactions after they garnered traction across various social media platforms, catching the attention of Lere Olayinka, the special adviser on media to FCT minister Nyesom Wike.

The picture which surfaced online, depicted the former Rivers State governor in a gorgeous Emir apparel, with his aide closely following him.

Reacting, Lere Olayinka in the statements which were shared on his official X handle, referred to the former transportation boss as, ‘His Royal Highness’ amid a mocking tone.

The accompanied delirious laughter from the special adviser underscores the breach in relationship between his principal, Nyesom Wike and the former governor whom he also referred to as the Emir of Ubima.

It can be recalled that the two former governors of Rivers State had been involved in a public spat following the formation of the ADC coalition, a front seeking to unseat the current administration.

These were the words of Lere Olayinka which he shared on his official X handle,

“His Royal Rotimi Amaechi, Emir of Ubima, Ikwerre LG, Rivers State.” He wrote.
