The former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has waded into the disagreement that occured between Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and lawmaker representing Kogi Central at the National Assembly, Senator Natasha Akpoti.
Oby Ezekwesili’s statement was contained in a post that she shared on her official X handle on Monday.
It is no longer news that Godswill Akpabio and Natasha Akpoti had a dispute over sitting arrangement in the House.
In the post that Oby Ezekwesili shared on her page, she expressed her displeasure over the incident that happened at the National Assembly. She said it is appalling that Godswill Akpabio has been attacking Natasha Akpoti and FCT senator, Ireti Kingibe since they got into the chamber.
Oby Ezekwesili stated that the Senate President should stop harassing women in the House.
Here is what Oby Ezekwesili wrote on her official X handle;
“Next time Mr Akpabio harasses any woman well-elected unlike him and representing her constituency at the National Assembly or any woman at all anywhere in this country, he must get ready”.
