Amidst the ongoing cycle of fiery comment between the administration of the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the Australian Government over the ongoing Gaza genocidal war, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, admitted that he was not in the habit of joining causes with wanted War Criminals, but Netanyahu was right about one thing that Australia’s Prime Minister was indeed a weak politician.
According to a report by the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi in a post made via his official X account, Seyed Abbas Araghchi said “I am not in the habit of joining causes with wanted War Criminals, but Netanyahu is right about one thing: Australia’s PM is indeed a weak politician. Iran is home to among the world’s oldest Jewish communities including dozens of synagogues. Accusing Iran of attacking such sites in Australia while we do our utmost to protect them in our own country makes zero sense.”
“Iran is paying the price for the Australian people’s support for Palestine. Canberra should know better than to attempt to appease a regime led by War Criminals. Doing so will only embolden Netanyahu and his ilk,” the top Iranian diplomat stated.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi forcefully dismissed the claims that the Iranian Government orchestrated at least two major antisemitic arson attacks in Australia, which prompted the expulsion of the Iranian ambassador and three diplomats, as illogical and hypocritical, pointing to Iran’s own ancient Jewish community. He also highlighted the presence of dozens of synagogues in Iran that were protected by the Iranian Government, arguing that it makes zero sense for a nation that safeguards such sites at home to be attacking them abroad.
The top Iranian official, Araghchi went further to frame Australia’s allegations as a cynical political ploy, suggesting that the Australian Government was merely attempting to appease the Israeli regime under the leadership of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warning that such a strategy was dangerously shortsighted.
He also stated that doing so would only embolden Netanyahu and his allies, especially the administration of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
