Temitope Ajayi, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Publicity has reacted after seeing photos of a tall building that was burnt down by angry protesters in Nepal.
The photos were contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Friday, September 12, 2025.
This is coming after a massive protest broke out in the country after some people were killed. According to CHANNELS TV, the killing of the people occured after the government placed a ban on social media in the country.
The report further stated that during the protest, several buildings and other infrastructures were razed down by the angry protesters.
However, after the photos surfaced online, Temitope Ajayi condemned the act that was carried out by the protesters.
He said there are better ways to demand accountability from the government or show displeasure towards a policy of the government.
The presidential aide said what the Nepalese have down will only take their country backward and slow down development in the country because the government will need to replace all that have been destroyed.

Here is what Temitope Ajayi wrote on his official X handle;
“It is interesting how protesters and rioters who said jobs are not enough ended up destroying the few that are available. They complained of poverty and ended up multiplying poverty when people are put out of jobs”.
