The Labour Party has dragged Nemadi Usman, a staunch supporter of former Anambra State governor and presidential aspirant Peter Obi after the announcement of the suspension of several party members. According to their statements which were shared by VANGUARD, they pointed out that she should tell Nigerians how she acquired her radio station in Kaduna.

While many were left alarmed after the Labour Party announced the suspension of several key members of the party, Nemadi Usman, a staunch supporter of Peter Obi has been dragged into the debacle.

According to the statements from the party which were made available to the general public by news outlet, VANGUARD today being Wednesday the 7th day of May 2025, Nemadi Usman could have earned a suspension but for several reasons.

According to the party’s national secretary, while Nemadi Usman was guilty of the same offences, she could not be suspended because she was not a registered member of the party.

However, he urged her to tell Nigerians how she acquired her radio station in Kaduna, and also all her properties both in Nigeria and in the diaspora. He also pointed out that Nemadi Usman lacked the moral standing to request for a probe.

‘In his words’

“She should also tell Nigerians how she acquired her radio station in Kaduna, all her properties all over Nigeria and abroad, and her companies in Cameroon, including her plantations. Nenadi Usman lacks the moral capacity to commence any probe or even talk about corruption,” He said.
