According to the Sun Newspaper, various groups from the Niger Delta have strongly condemned Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan over her recent remarks about Senate President Godswill Akpabio, labeling her statements as inappropriate and unbecoming of a senator.

Organizations such as the Niger Delta Renaissance and Niger Delta Mothers for Good Governance expressed their disapproval, asserting that her conduct was disgraceful.

Speaking on behalf of these groups, Comrade Alice Omo-Ovie criticized Senator Natasha’s remarks, stating that they displayed a lack of regard for Akpabio.

They urged her husband, Chief Emmanuel Uduaghan, to issue a formal apology on her behalf, emphasizing that her actions were not only an embarrassment to the Senate but also to the people of Kogi, Delta, and the entire Niger Delta region.

Another member of the group, Madam Eunice Olisah, denounced Natasha’s behavior, stating that it was improper for a person in her position. She further emphasized that a woman’s true character is revealed through her words and conduct rather than just her outward appearance.

The stakeholders described her remarks as a public disgrace, adding that such behavior should not be condoned in leadership.

They also pointed out that similar conduct had been overlooked during the administration of former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello but stressed that Niger Delta women would not accept any form of disrespect toward Akpabio.

The groups reaffirmed their support for Akpabio and called on the Senate to take appropriate disciplinary measures against Natasha for her actions.

They further condemned Natasha’s actions, describing them as a shameful and inappropriate display that undermined the men in Kogi, Delta, and the broader Niger Delta region.
