Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, a former Minister of Works and Housing, has commented on Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s allegation that Senate President Godswill Akpabio harassed her.

Speaking in a video shared by Arise TV, Ogunlewe stated that some female senators are known for their strong personalities and would never tolerate any form of harassment. He mentioned that anyone familiar with former Senator Remi Tinubu would know she was a teacher, and teachers do not allow people to take advantage of them. He explained that she is the type of person who would not let anyone intimidate her and would respond firmly. He also compared her to former Senator Ita Giwa, stating that such women stand up to men without hesitation.

In Ogunlewe’s words: “Anybody that knows Senator Remi Tinubu would know that she was a teacher and you don’t mess up with a teacher because she will mess you up too. So you cannot go even near that kind of woman. It is just like Ita Giwa, they will stand up to you as a man.
