Sandra Musa, a key figure in the move to recall Senator Natasha Akpoti, has spoken about the unfolding events surrounding the senator’s suspension. During an interview with TVC News from 0.44, she shared her thoughts on the issue.
Sandra explained that Natasha Akpoti is deeply loved by her constituents. Many people supported her during the election, showing how much they believed in her. However, Sandra believes that if Natasha had focused only on the issue of her seat being changed without her consent, things might have turned out differently.
“If only we had stayed by the issue, which was my seat was changed, why was my seat changed without my consent, that would have, for me, earned her a star,” Sandra said.
She also acknowledged that sudden changes without a person’s consent can be frustrating and uncomfortable. However, she expressed concern about how things have escalated
Sandra also spoke about the allegations of sexual harassment, stating that such issues should be taken seriously. She emphasized that if Natasha had evidence, many would support her just as they did in the beginning. However, she avoided going deeper into the matter, calling it a personal issue.
