The Edo APC Youth Leader, Tony Kabaka has alleged that his younger brother is currently placed on Oxygen following the attack on the convoy of the APC candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo at Benin Airport.

He stated that the perpetrators of the shooting are known and that a petition has been submitted to the federal government for them to be brought to book. He underscored the urgency of addressing this issue to prevent the normalization of gun violence in Benin. He passionately called for the APC party leaders to intervene and prevent the ongoing mistreatment melted on APC members in Edo State.

He said in a media coverage by Arise TV From 56:32, ”I want my message to go directly to the National Working committee of our ruling party and to the Presidency as well. What we are facing here in Edo State is oppression and if the Federal government continues to allow them to treat us like this, the party may not survive in the state. It’s like we don’t have a political father in Edo State and our father is the President of Edo State. We lost Edo State the last time because they said Edo is not Lagos.

But now Tinubu is the President, our leaders should not fold their hands and let them deal with us the way they are doing now. As we speak, my junior brother is presently on Oxygen because of what happened at the Benin airport. He’s my junior brother of the same father and the same mother. We know the people that perpetrated that shooting and we know their names. We have written a petition that the Federal Government should assist us and bring them to book. If they don’t face the Justice, it will become a normalcy for people to bring out guns and start shooting on the street of Benin.”….Seë_Morë
