The former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to report claiming that his land has been revoked by the FCT administration.

According to LEADERSHIP, the FCT Minister revoked plots of land allocated to Muhammadu Buhari, SGF, George Akume, House Of Representatives Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas and many others.

However, the former President has now reacted. In a statement that was made by Garba Shehu on Thursday, it was stated that Buhari is not the owner of the land. He said the land was allocated in the name “Muhammadu Buhari Foundation”.

“The former President is personally not the owner of the said plot of the land which is allocated in the name “Muhammadu Buhari Foundation. The Foundation was itself floated by some utilitarian individuals around him who, it must said, went about it in a lawful manner with the support of a number of well-meaning persons”.
