Bayo Onanuga, the special adviser to the president on Information and Strategy recently reacted after he encountered the former governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential aspirant, Peter Obi during a ceremony in Lagos state. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the meeting was void of bitterness.
While many would have expected a surprise meeting between the 2023 Labour Party presidential aspirant, Peter Obi and an opposition spokesman to be characterized by malice, the reverse was the case when Bayo Onanuga met the former governor in Lagos.
During the recent birthday celebration of a national icon, Uncle Sam Amuka-Penu, the special adviser to the president on Information and Strategy encountered the former Anambra governor, and the ensuing scene was monumental.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, the special adviser pointed out that meeting with Peter Obi was a pleasure. He further made it known that the meeting was void of bitterness as they exchanged warm handshakes.
Speaking further, he pointed out that he enjoyed the company of the former governor as an ally, Prince Nduka Obaigbena cracked them up with jokes. According to the special adviser, the encounter was filled with ‘good vibes’.
