Fiery Catholic priest and founder of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to truth and divine service, stating that unlike many others, he will never shy away from speaking out for the nation.
“Many are shying away. I’m not one of them,” Mbaka said in a passionate address, stressing his fearless stance in the face of political, social, and spiritual challenges confronting Nigeria.
Known for his outspoken style and controversial interventions in national issues, Mbaka used the occasion to highlight his long-standing dedication to the priesthood. “Thirty years in priesthood—I’m not talking about 30 days,” he emphasized. “Not 30 weeks. Oh no,” he added, dismissing any notion that his words come from inexperience or fleeting passion.
Mbaka, who has weathered criticism and controversy over the years, credited his strength and calling to a divine source. “I came to Jesus to the glory of Yahweh Sabaoth,” he declared, invoking the Hebrew name that portrays God as the Lord of Hosts, symbolizing divine power and authority.
The Enugu-based priest has built a reputation as a spiritual leader who blends religious prophecy with national commentary. Despite criticism from some church authorities and political figures, Mbaka insists that his voice remains a tool for divine purpose, especially in turbulent times.
As he marks three decades in service to the Catholic Church, Mbaka remains defiant in his resolve. “I’m not one of them,” he reiterated, referencing those who remain silent in the face of national decay.
