Nigeria’s Popular Social Crusader, Charles Oputa A.K.A Charly Boy has made his commentaries concerning the unending battle for a sustainable minimum wage between the Labour Unions and the Federal Government. A few days ago after the organized labour decided to suspend their strike to create room for more seamless negotiation over the minimum wage, the Federal Government has now returned with an offer of N62,000 which isn’t far from their previous offer of N60,000.

Mr. Charly Boy showed his disappointment over the ways the Labour Unions were handling things in their fight for a better minimum wage. According to him, the organized labour are longer reliable and this should be a wakeup call for Nigerians to know that they need to come out in their numbers to fight for a better government. He claimed that the present holders of power are way more concerned about building their own empires with very little concern about how the common man feeds. He also expressed deep sadness over the fact that all his children have left Nigeria for greener pastures due to the present bad state of the country in all aspects.
