Nigerian poet and author, Lola Shoneyin has left Nigerians and social media users buzzing after sharing a photo of Wole Soyinka granddaughter trimming his beards on his 90th birthday, today the 13th of July, 2024.
Sharing photo of the Nigerian legendary playwright and essayist, Wole Soyinka having his beards trimmed by his granddaughter on his birthday, Lola Shoneyin tweeted: “When they visit, his grandchildren leave with signed copies of his books and sometimes albums. They all have a small collection. Leola rids her grandfather of an ungovernable strand of hair.”
