Yoruba Nation agitator Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has urged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

According to Vanguard, Igboho, in a statement, argued that just as President Muhammadu Buhari was allowed to complete his term, Tinubu should be given the same opportunity to implement his policies.

Igboho criticised the planned nationwide protests scheduled for August 1, claiming they are being sponsored by unknown individuals aiming to destabilise the country.

He praised President Tinubu’s bold steps since assuming office on May 29, 2023, stating that these revolutionary policies were lacking in previous administrations.

The Yoruba Nation agitator believes Tinubu’s actions have unsettled those who consider it their birthright to rule Nigeria, leading to attempts to undermine his administration, particularly on social media.

Igboho accused these individuals of trying to create discord between the government and the people.

Igboho’s statement comes as a response to the planned protests over the current hardship in the country.

He argued that President Tinubu should be given time to address these challenges and continue implementing his agenda.

Part of Igboho’s statement reads, “Like President Buhari, President Tinubu must be allowed to complete his term in office.

“The path to change lies in democratic processes—through the ballot box or a referendum. Those who seek change must wait until the next elections in 2027.

“We urge our members and the broader community to resist any temptation to participate in these protests, as they do not serve the interests of the Yoruba people or the nation as a whole.”….Sêe_Morē
