One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has reacted after hearing the comment that Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde made about the Supreme Court judgement.
The Oyo state governor reacted after the Supreme Court granted financial autonomy to all the 774 Local Government Areas in the country.
In a video that was shared on the official X handle of PUNCH NEWSPAPER, Seyi Makinde said the judgement of the Supreme Court is a distraction. He said there is Local Government autonomy and there is financial autonomy even before the judgement.
Seyi Makinde said;
“There is Local Government autonomy, financial autonomy, and all of that, and I will still say it, I think it’s just a distraction. We must face the real issues that we have. The issue that we have is that we are not producing enough. We are not productive”.
Reacting to the statement that was made by the Oyo state governor, Shehu Sani said the governor is angry.
He wrote on his page;
