On June 21, 2025, Nigerian political commentator Lere Olayinka took to X to highlight an intriguing observation about the logos of two political entities: the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and the newly proposed All Democratic Alliance (ADA).

In a post accompanied by an image, Olayinka pointed out that both logos feature a prominent corn cob, commonly known as “agbado” in Nigeria, sparking a discussion about originality and political strategy.

Here is what he wrote on his official X handle

The ANPP, a party with a historical presence in Northern Nigeria, once controlled seven states during its peak in 2003 before merging into the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2013. Meanwhile, ADA emerged recently on June 19, 2025, under the Nigeria National Coalition Group (NNCG), positioning itself as a potential opposition force ahead of the 2027 elections.

Olayinka’s caption, “Kolision of Konfusion,” suggests that the shared logo design might reflect a lack of distinct identity or strategic planning within ADA.
