Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to reply the comments made by the former Chief of Army Staff, General Tukur Buratai. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that as former director of Rotimi Amaechi’s campaign, he has done his job excellently.
The former Chief of Army Staff, Major General Tukur Buratai was recently on the spotlight after he made his opinions known regarding the brouhaha involving erstwhile Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike and a young military personnel, AM Yarima.
His comments which garnered widespread traction across various social media platforms, was viewed as lopsided by Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor.
According to his statements which were shared on his official X handle on Wednesday November 12th 2025, he accused the former military general of siding the young soldier and also serving the interest of his former principal, Rotimi Amaechi.
Lere Olayinka, known for his fearless and bold remarks, pointed out that as campaign director of the erstwhile governor of Rivers State, the military general had done his job at rubbishing the image of Nyesom Wike.
