Demola Olanrewaju, the Special Adviser on Digital Media Strategy to the former Vice President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the 2023 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted after Comfort Emmanson, the lady who clashed with an Ibom Airline hostess and some officials at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos was remanded in prison.
Demola Olanrewaju’s statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Comfort Emmanson was sent to prison after she was seen slapping and hitting the air hostess.
In the post that he shared on his official X handle, he said by remanding Comfort Emmanson at the correctional center, the ruling party is sending a strong message to Nigerians who are not supporting the government.
Demola Olanrewaju said the the government is showing that it is not ready to tolerate anyone who is against it.
Here is what he wrote on his official X handle;
“Kirikiri is a maximum prison reserved for hardened criminals. Sending that lady to that place is a message to the rest of us that; If you’re with us, you may be covered but if you’re not with us, we will deal with you extremely”.
