Popular Nollywood actress, Kate Amaka Henshaw has reacted to report telling electricity consumers on Band A to brace up for another increase.
According to PUNCH, consumers on Band A may need to brace up for a possible tariff increase following the rise in electricity tariff shortfall.
Here is what Punch wrote on its official X handle;
“Electricity customers on Band A feeders may need to brace up for a possible tariff increase following the rise in the electricity tariff shortfall otherwise known as subsidy”.
However, Kate Henshaw has now reacted to the report. In a post that she shared on her official X handle on Monday, she said banding of electricity is a pure theft. She said there is nowhere in the world where there is Band A or whatever alphabet.
Here is what she wrote on her page;
“I have said it before, and I repeat, this banding of electricity is pure theft. Nowhere in the world is there Band A or whatever alphabet for electricity! Give everyone electricity and let them pay for what they consume”.
