The Edo State Commissioner for Digital Economy, Science and Technology, Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor, has stated that the official Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress Edo State Gubernatorial Campaign Council, Kassim Afegbua, said that having Monday Okpebholo as the candidate of the APC when people like him are in existence is an insult to the APC.

Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor made this statement during an interview with a journalist on Arise Television From 42:35 . During the interview, Ogbeide Ifaluyi-Isibor said, “Kassim Afegbua said that it is an insult for Monday Okpebholo to be APC candidate. I give Kassim Afegbua the credit for saying the truth.”

“It is known that the APC is often proud of what it should be ashamed of. We know that deep inside their hearts, they are ashamed of the candidate they have. Monday Okpebholo is not a competitor in the coming election.”

It is important to remember that Kassim Afegbua said that Monday Okpebholo was not fit to be the candidate of the APC. However, after Monday Okpebholo made peace with some of the aspirants who contested with him for the APC ticket for the Edo Gubernatorial Election, Kassim Afegbua was made the spokesman of Monday Okpebholo’s campaign council and since then, Kassim Afegbua has been supporting Monday Okpebholo.
